The practice-teaching and theoretical-methodological lectures and further training courses are always connected to Chopin"s name.
They are organized for the pupil-teacher pairs or both for teachers and older students only - depending on the difficulty of the subject.
Izabella Darska Havasi:
To the honour of the "2010 - Chopin Year", I prepared three professional-level lectures on Chopin, followed by a lecture on Liszt - on the occasion of the "2011 - Liszt Year". Of course, the lecture on Liszt also related to the personality of Chopin, with the relationship of Liszt and Chopin being analysed in detail. Later, other lectures were also written - these are listed in their thematic order.
All the lectures were prepared especially for musicians. They provide thepretical information only of basic level knowledge of the dances, say nothing of things redundand for musicians (e.g. names of the dance steps). As a pianist - I DON"T teach dances. Instead of teaching dances, I show a lot of video and audio materials for each lecture, in the dimension of approximately 50% of the time duration.
Due to my professional motivation,
would love to share my accumulated knowledge with people interested in these topics, with special focus on their practical relevance.
